Right you are. I don't know what I was thinking (or wasn't, in this case) when I wrote that post. Anyway, this excerpt is nice, but Stravinsky is the one for me, though it's hard to say he was "Russian" as a composer.

@koreankayagum I think you maybe have this the wrong way round. To put it another way - Tchaikovsky's music greatly influenced the compositions of Glazunov (as was Rakhmaninoff). Tchaikovsky was 25 when Glazunov was born - maybe you're thinking of Mikhail Glinka but Tchaikovsky was more influenced by 'German' composers.
