This is a montage of Colorado's Own Channel 2's new identity, graphics package, music, and set (kinda). European simplicity meets Colorado landscapes. It is very well executed and is without a doubt an improvement over the ill-fated "Deuce" era.
Deborah Takahara and Jeremy Hubbard are the anchors. Dave Fraser presents the weather report, and Zubin Mehenti has the sport update.
This video was recorded Monday, July 25, the day the new identity was officially launched.
Do anyone know what program was used to make the open?

The KWGN that I knew and loved died in 2009 when they sold out to Fox. Sorry it never will be the same again. I would have liked to have seen Nina Sparano anchoring the 7pm show she earned it. Deborah didn't!!

This is far and away miles ahead (no pun intended) of their ridiculous "Deuce" theme. I like it, I like it.
Now, to move that pesky 7pm newscast—I'd say 10pm, as KDVR already has something at 9...

The opening credits has sheer network-evening-news quality: a preview of the stories that will be talked about, and then the open. Love it!!!

Clean graphics. Very nice. I don't like the new KWGN logo. And the music package sounds like KDVR's.

It's official. I forgive you, KWGN, for the Deuce debauchery. Well done.
