Well we both agree on that one. Even though I'm not a REpub, I'm hoping for a Ron Paul nomination.

@pluto4847 110% Ron Paul!

Exactly my point! What next? forcing me to pay car, home, flood insurance? Free market, not Gov't intervention is the answer. If you are starting a business I'm sure your employees and their families will be well taken care of. If you want to donate to other people's healthcare then by all means, donate to mine so I can be lazy. But seriously, I would suggest looking into exactly what those donations are going into. Stop enabeling illegals, and lazy junkies! And lay off my earned income!

So who do you support? I like Ron Paul, but it doesn't look to good for him in the polls. I would consider voting for Ron Paul if he got the nomination simply because he said he would end the federal income tax.

Why do Am ericans go elsewhere for medical treatment? Because its cheaper that's why. If you needed an operation your insurance would not cover, but you could get it at a much cheaper price, wouldn't you get your operation in India or the UNited KIngdom? I would. In fact, in 2006 I needed an operation my insurance would not cover so I got treated in the United Kingdom. I'm fine now thanks to the Uk.

@pluto4847 Keep on knowing me... I am not a Repub. And I definately do NOT support Romney!

Free? Did you say free? Obamacare is not free my friend. He said everybody would be mandated to buy insurance. How is that free you Newt Gingrich wannabe?
Under Obamacare, its not free universal care, but its better than what we have now.
Besides, I have my eyes on Vermont now. When their single payer system gets established, I'm moving up there.
Than I can still have health benefits regardless of the future job market.
-
And I laugh at Mitt Romney. Here is Mitt Romney your saviour, but he is the one who founded Obamacare in the firsat place. He even said he would let healthcare be left to the States to find their own solution. That suits me just fine.
Massasschusetts has a Mandate for health insurance.
Vermont just passed a single payer system, and its going to happen.
Conneticut is setting up a public option for the uninsured.
So things are happening. U cain't stop it. Sorry.

You pay outrageous coverage because:
a) You probably don't receive work based health benefits
b) The uninsured are not mandated to buy insurance so when they get sick you end up paying for them regardless of Obamacare.
c) Health Insurance companies, similar to the banks are not here to help you, they are here to profit off of you.
It might bust your balls, but did you know even the people with health insurance go medically bankrupt. Explain that one Einstein.

Wait a minute? I'm not one of the lazy Americans thank you very much. First off, I work two jobs and I am in the process of opening up my own business. I have health and vision coverage through my work. I'm not uninsured, but that doesn't mean I can act like a spoiled ungratful brat and not help my fellow citizens. Of course, I would be willing to pay a little bit more tax to help my fellow Americans. I already contribute to education, police and fire protection.
I live in Britain. We have the National Health Service and private healthcare if you can afford it. Most of western Europe has some sort of state healthcare and it's a beautiful thing. My son has a bad skin condition, and when I took him to my GP (general practitioner at my local doctor's surgery) he examines him and relays him to a specialist at the local hospital who diagnoses him and gives us a prescription. He is under 16 years old so EVERYTHING is free including the medicine! NHS is AMAZING!
