@HasenDarkness: Then PM me a list of WotLK private servers, please. I'm dying for one. Thank you.

@UcantResistClicking0 u mad bro? there are still thousands of private servers. And, from what I understood, Blizzard wont delete private servers because Private Servers pay blizzard a lot of money.
-
@Vevictonn World of Warcraft. Vanilla = World, Cata = Warcraft? :SSS
-
@OhFailBoii: Well, MOST of them...I've checked like over a hundred YouTube private server videos recruiting and most of them around the current date at the time, went to the website and it said it's closed.

Ultimately, I'd say Vanilla embraced the "World" in World of Warcraft while Cataclysm embraced the "War". In Vanilla, there was a sense where this was a living, breathing land where you could make your own place and find things that were incredibly obscure.
Now everything is about personal advancement in the war. It's no longer a world, it's a game. Instead of finding things, we just want to dungeon finder, get the best gear, and kill big things like every other game.

Vanilla : Great. Focus on sense of adventure and exploration instead of the current focus on gameplay mechanics. Still, many clunky gameplay elements.
BC: Good. Added very nice new content. Didn't change vanilla gameplay by a great amount.
WotLK: Good. Added some of the best content in the game (dungeon finder), but at the cost of WoW community and sense of adventure. Shift into "it's all about mechanics and numbers"
Cata: Good. Best mechanics. Destroyed realm sense of adventure/community.

Wrong.

@UcantResistClicking0 WRONG. There are still private servers out there. Try to get your information correct before you comment. I can name 1 Private server off my head ... Molten WoW ... I know cause i play it :P I dont like Cata so i went back to WotLK.
I started wow in BC. The thrill of being a noob in a HUGE world meeting new friends to defeat a common enemy was exhilarating. My funnest times of wow wasnt winning high rated arenas, downing heroic bosses... but of the times i spent mucking around with friends as a lvl 40, getting his first 60% mount and running through stv battling horde. Or the times where you would log on to stormwind and already be entertained by the shenanigans that occured. This was the best world of warcraft experience.
