The Hunter (The Gambler Parody)

This is a parody of the Gambler, written, sung, processed and then machinimed in less than 12 hours and a single day.

On a hot and dusty eve'nin, on a blimp bound for Mulgore,
Ran into an orc Hunter, lean'in over the back rail.
And we stared at the Barrens, and chuckled at the newbies,
Till his eyes drifted to me, and he grunted loud and deep.

He said, "Elf, I've been around, and I've seen a lot of changes,
Heck, I can still remember, when we had to earn our pets.
But those were all the old days, and these are brand new ranges,
So you need to move on forward, and go without regrets".

Well, I turned to to him and nodded, and back inside we ploddded,
The place was bare of seats, so on the floor we sat.
I offered him a gold coin, and he took it with a gruff laugh,
"Elf, I hope the lore I'm giv'in's, worth a damn site more than that."

"You gotta know when ta pull 'em, know when ta fool 'em,
Know when ta rage your beast, and know when ta stun.
You better watch your focus, when your putt'in down a boss, yeah,
N' keep an eye on your aggro, and let the damn tank do his job."

"Now, I'm sure that you know, everything's a Hunter weapon,
but ya can't get too damn greedy, so learn some self restraint.
If you Piss off all your guildies, you'll soon get called a ninja,
So pass on some good loot, and ya won't hear no complaint."

He walked back to the rail, and left me to my thoughts,
after just a moment, he sat down AFK.
And as we got to ThunderBluff, he faded out from my view,
I though about his advice, as he logged out for the day.
