BEST PSP HOMEBREW APPLICATION EVER: Xplora 1.8 - Like Windows on the PSP

I felt obliged to share this with you all. I use this DAILY to move, copy, paste, cut, unzip, and run all sorts of stuff on my PSP. Do not download XPlora 2.0 if you find it, as it messed up my PSP and I had to downgrade to fix it, but Xplora 1.8 is stable, and EPIC.

There is a newer version of Xplora, version 2.06, which I have not tested, but it is reported to be pretty bad ass and more of an actual PSP "Shell". Installation is a little more complicated than 1.8 but if you want to try it, feel free.

Instructions to install Xplora 1.8:
-Download this file: http://pspslimhacks.com/download/161/
-Connect PSP to computer
-Open PSP/GAME on memory stick or internal storage (PSPGo)
-Copy Xplora 1.8 folder to GAME folder
-Disconnect, run from XMB

Xplora 2.06 installation:
-Download this file: http://www.multiupload.com/M77T24PCJB
-Connect PSP to computer
-Copy Xplora folder and PSP folder to the root of your memory stick or internal storage (PSPGo)
-Click YES to merge PSP folder with existing PSP folder
-Exit USB mode, run Xplora through XMB
-Enjoy!

@SuperCcgamer No, winrar works, but for some reason, files that are compressed alot, fail to open. Kinda gay, but completely manageable.

@TheDeathOfChaos I just didn't want to deal with a bunch of poorly thought out, flaming comments, that is all. Everyone is entitled to use whatever they would like, I use my channel to give my opinion. In my opinion, this is much better because it is totally noob friendly. I can't stand people who say Filer is better, when this can do all that Filer does, with a much nicer GUI

@UBeeNStryKeD That's actually a very good reason, I totally agree with you on that. I've been enjoying it, thanks for sharing this with me. Also, just wondering, I'm using 6.20 PRO-B7, is it alright to just up it strait to B9 or do I need to go to B8 and then B9, or maybe go back to OFW and then to B-9? Not sure cuz I don't get an answer from anywhere, lol. I've got a Slim 02g model if that may be useful information for the subject,

@TheDeathOfChaos No need to install B8 or drop back to OFW. Download the PRO B9 files, place PROUPDATE into PSP/GAME. Make sure that all of your game plugins are OFF and then just run the PROUPDATE to install the new CFW

i tried to lunch a song and an emu (snes9x Euphoria) from the xplora 1.8 but it froze both times, with the emu i had to pull the battery

i have psp 3000 and pro B-9 and it says on both of them that it cant read x_firmware plugin or some other plugin plz HELP!!

@UBeeNStryKeD Awesome, thanks. I'm no noob, I just hadn't updated since B7 and I always just went from one to the other. I'm hoping the category lite plugin will work better with B9 than B7, it's just hella slow for some reason, lol
