  • i can play CS:S on medium on my fx5200.. xD *proud*

... and crysis on very high on maxed out settings on my hd4850. :P

  • Yes, ATI and nVidia are both very good for games depending on which card, for example a FX5200 will not be very good for the new games, and the ATI X1600 series are not very good for games.

  • so as far as ATI vs Nvidea both are good for games?

  • Well, the thing is, the 9800 has terrible microstutter (Really annoying stuttering in games), but this depends on the game, Crysis is probably be the only demanding game the GX2 can beat the 4870 on but only by a few unnoticable frames. The 4870 is alot cheaper and will work well in the future for all the new games coming out, you will regret buying the 9800GTX or 9800GX2 over the ATI's, I dont know about the motherboards sorry,

    You have been warned!

  • isnt Nvidia gennerally better for gaming, does it depend on what motherboard it has for Nividea or Radeaon to be better? well im definitally looking to play crysis and future games

  • Erm..

The 4850 is probably slightly better than the 9800GTX,

The GX2 depends on which games your playing, sometimes the GX2 has slightly better framerates, but other times, the 4870 is the winner,

I would go with the 4850 and the 4870, (Much cheaper, Better performance)

  • is very high the best?? also out of 9800 gtx or 4850 which is better...or 9800 gx2 vs 4870

    would u no? thanks!

  • Well, The 9800GTX will run it better than the 8800GT, so yes, it will run it on very high.

  • 8800 can run crysis very high what about 9800 gtx?

  • 8800.
