  • Yes!!!! Thanks for posting this. :)

  • One of my favorites -- a long song, but contains the best of everything....

  • Was this arranged by John WIlliams? I believe he used to do orchestrations fot the Boston Pops before writing scores for Star Wars, E,T,, etc.--arnie113

  • Arnie, this is the Arthur Fielder arrangement of a Christmas Festival. There is an arrangement of Christmas music that John Williams did (that I have not heard) but have seen it referred to. My wife remembered this version from years ago and once I heard it I had to do it for the Christmas display. I am glad you found this -- it is hard to find someone willing to put in the time to put this long piece to musical lights.

  • @StaffordXmasLights Merry Christmas and thanks for posting. Arthur Fiedler did commission this arrangement, "A Christmas Festival," but the arranger was Leroy Anderson. Fiedler played it many times as have orchestras all over the world. I first heard it played by the Pacoima Junior High School orchestra in 1959. It's among my favorite Christmas music. I'm glad so many others enjoy it too. Thanks again!

  • very nice you have incredible talent

  • @StaffordXmasLights -- This was arranged by LeRoy Anderson 1908 - 1975

  • @arnie113 -- This was arranged by LeRoy Anderson 1908 - 1975

  • A Happy Christmas and safe and Properous New Year from London England

  • Preformed every Christmas by The Camden High School Band, Camden, Arkansas. Superior Rated. Ron Allen Director.

  • Fiedler and the Pops used this arrangement of "A Christmas Festival" for decades, dating back to 1952. The arrangement is by the late (and very great) Leroy Anderson.
