Members of Congress' special deficit-cutting 'supercommittee' are expressing pessimism over the prospects they'll reach a deal before next week's deadline. Texas Republican Jeb Hensarling spoke to reporters Wednesday. (Nov. 16)

@yourtreat2 Words from another GOP/TeaParty intellect who actually believes these self-serving GOP legislator swine give a rip about anyone other than their own pocket books, special interest supporters and reelection. If you really believe that asking the super-wealthy ($1M TAXABLE INCOME annually) to pay an additional 5-10% in taxes has ANY impact on job creation then you're beyond help.

Look. 99% of Republican policies benefit the elite. No matter how reasonable republicans senators try to 'act' the fact is that Republicans Senators represent rich elite lobbyists.
If you are elite...then vote for them. If you are Rupert Murdoch or work for Fox news or are stinking rich - vote for them.
If you are Average American - get a clue. Let the super rich and corporations pay their fair share of taxes! YOU pay them...you pay more than the rich people.
