cause the hd65 is better than the hd20, noob.

This projector does not actually play 1080p it does like all other projectors and shrinks it down to its available pixels and crops it so it "looks" like 1080p. It really can only display 720p since thats the native resolution. Still looks incredible though and is a great projector.

@Tech4U247 yeh so because its downscaled you are only seeing 720p

I bought one and I liked the picture but the bulb burned out after 2 weeks so I took her back. I'm thinking about getting one again for Halo Reach. This is the only native 1280x720p video displaying device still being made I think. Am I right? Thats what makes it good for xbox 360 gaming on top of that it's got good color accuracy out of the box.

@peterbucaneiro how can it display at 1080p on a 720p projector?
Tech4U247 11 months ago
@Tech4U247 The same way all TVs do, downscaling it.

so do you see a big difference between a 1080p and a 720p or is it minimal?
fenderlover 3 years ago
There is no big difference.
You only see difference in games at 1080p becouse the new render with mode details in 1080p, but in a movie, that doesn't has a new render, is the same picture in 1080p and 720p, frame to frame, you won't see any difference.
