Speaking as an animator and fine artist in his prime, I have to agree with you Goken02 - Alita is not a PG-13 character, and GUNNM is not a PG-13 story. For those who haven't read the manga, Kishiro is fond of using gratuitous violence as a story vehicle.

It's gritty, brutal, fast, and well paced, just like the manga. Bravo!
I hope Cameron can capture this essence of the graphic novel.

@Avian98X Aye. if I recall correctly this was made by a fan-based studio, primarily in Shade 3D. By today's standards it doesn't really hold up, but for the time it was released it was awesome!

@IzzyXgallY from wht i remember of the manga and the OVA...they should come up with a rating of its own XD, the fight scenes were brutal

As nice as this looks - this video is in no way in relation with Cameron's movie. This here was made in Japan years ago as some kind of bonus for battle angel alita. In fact, if Cameron really produces Battle Angel, it will look even greater than Avatar :-).
