@ravenstar100 He's in a wire harness. Do you want him to do hick kicks and flips just to get tangled before the flight?

The instrumentals were better in the actual play than on the concept album.

I've seen the Austrian version, the Broadway version and heard the James Barbour version adn I think I prefer how Tom Hewitt sings it best.

Tom Hewitt IS Dracula

Love this scene but why did you cut off part of the beginning?

God, I love Tom Hewitt's Dracula. James Barbour's version is good but Tom Hewitt feels like an actual person... er... vampire. There seems to be actual emotion and character in how he sings the lyrics.

@MunchletteBelle This is Tom Hewitt. He's not some random guy. You want to hear a terrible version, look up the version sung by Steven Whats-his-name. Tom Hewitt is a big name on Broadway. He's a Tony Award winner who was in the revival of The Rocky Horror Show as Dr. Frank.

I remember seeing this show in previews on Broadway. Being a huge Jekyll and Hyde fan, I couldn't believe how awful this was. I wasn't expecting brilliance (J&H is, admittedly, no masterpiece), but it was just so BORING. This is the one good song in the show IMO, although here it's taken too slow and obviously, the blocking is stagnant. Tom Hewitt's singing voice is far too light for Dracula, but he certainly looked the part and acted it well. I was surprised he didn't get a Tony nomination.
I`ve been waiting for some clips from "Dracula..." for so long - thanks for upload this! :)

@fluffypuppy42 I agree. Unfortunately Jeremy Roberts (the conductor for the album) is too full of himself to admit it. So we're stuck with his mediocre instrumentals which pale compared to this live show and the Austrian album.
