Recorded in September 2009 at the beautiful lakeside of Weggis (Switzerland).
Played by the "Riverboat Stokers" from Zurich:
Röbi Lässker vio (Stroh violin), Charlie Schumacher tb, Leo Utiger cl/sax, Thomas Gilg cl/sax, Willy Wiedmer bjo, Rudi Glattfelder sou, Hans Schönholzer perc.

A Stroh violin, or violinophone, or horn-violin is a violin that amplifies its sound through a metal resonator and metal horns rather than a wooden sound box as on a standard violin. The instrument is named after its German designer, Johannes Matthias Augustus Stroh, who patented it in 1899.

Unfortunately, I could not upload the HD Video but had to convert it to this Low Res format, due to a well-known bug in the YouTube Codecs...
