When I was 7 my dad would ALWAYS play their golden cd and the bee gees album, frank sinatra, Tom jones and the list goes on and now i recently turned 14 and adore and appreciate these songs!

@epf1961 Doesn't make sense to compare Karen Carpenter with Ella Fitzgerald - two people attempting two different things. It's like asking whether Michael Jordan or Babe Ruth was the greater athlete.
To the extent singing is about pitch, tone, and timing, as opposed to who "did things with their voices", Karen is almost peerless.
