  • I went to the site that sells the waterwalls but I could not find how much they cost. Could you point me in the direction of that.

  • I concurr with you 100+++%

    Thaks for posting, could not have said it better!!

  • what to do with the salt..? perfect reason to Stop the mining of salts from mountains ,eh?

  • Well said. You are correct, rainwater use reduces demand on underground water, therefore reduces salinity of water under ground, and this is very important for preserving arable land from saline contamination

  • Is this your video? Do you have rights? I would like to use most of it for a public access show I am working on.

  • i have a 12000 gallon cistern and its great. nearly 100 percent of my home water supply comes from rain.

  • Nice video. I've set up rain barrels and love them.

  • I was wondering if water farming from the ocean was possible. Take a large surface area made of a new material that is so black that over 90% of light can not escape which would lead to faster evaporation. A clear cover over that with a membrane that draws the evaporated water up into a separate chamber that has it run off at a 1-2 degree slope. The membrane would allow water through one way but not the other. A scraper would move the salt build up based on weight. Computer controlled.

  • sweet, but is rain water sweet too? lol not serious about the sweet rain water here

  • Supposedly the first 200 gallons are to clean of the roof before collection.Hydro power generation is perfect for this 'waste' water, Not to mention grey water uses like toilets, and soooo many other things that do not require potable grade water.
