@MockBlue I know The Pretedenders but they´re so damn overrated maybe except for the female movement in music. But actually the female movement in music was just a consequence of the historical process in societies of that time so that female musicians ( if vocalists do belong to this group which can be doubted for good reasons ) are mostly overrated in this particular meaning. Neither Shirley nor Hynde can basically be compared to real female musicians like Jennifer Batten e,g,,

@modusn She is the front woman of The Pretenders, a post punk outfit with massive hits such as 'Back on the Chain Gang', 'Brass in Pocket', and 'I go to Sleep' to name but a few. Check them out before you pass judgement - they were a great great band - Shirley Manson thought so anyway!
