Conclusion for, for me anyway, the service has awesome potential but is really being hindered by what seems to be a very shortsighted leadership at Square. To not have open communication with your customer in today's world is unacceptable. If you go Square, know the pitt falls, which is hard since they censor everything they can.
3) You can't enter a discount number (for example) I have a preferred customer discount or you may runs special where you want to create an item in your store where you can just tap it and add the discount and have it reflected in the customer's receipt.
4) There were a lot of other things that were in the forums that have all been removed a few months ago but no way of communicating with them.
1) Square (the company) does not want/like/accept any customer feedback. When I first joined they had a forum which they since have shut down and replaced with a one way communication posting. They indicated that they didn't have the time to deal with people and their comments, concerns and feedback.
2) They have also disabled any ability to submit feedback in the App store by conveniently making it impossible to complete the feedback form when entering your required nickname.
Hey Rick ... I use Square to augment my e-store as well for on-location POS system. The service works pretty well but there are some things to be aware of and I'll post in a couple of comments due to size restrictions.
