are these dogs good around babies? My mom and i are trying to find a new dog who would be okay around small children, in case my parents become grandparents soon. We really like the look of lakelands and similar terriers. Thanks

Dear Kater Tater, Our dog is very kind and lovely for childeren, he always wants to play. But he is very bussy always and he likes that, he is very clever and you have a extra child with high intellect !

hi, Can you tell me what their temperment is like, this breed of Dog, I have four kids 12, 11, 7 and 6, and one Dog already a Golden Retriever, but I am looking at getting a second dog, and want a smaller dog. Thanks Eileen

Hello Eileen,
Lakeland terrier are very kind for other dogs and childeren, but they are terrier and they need much attention. They are very proud, intelligent and not afraid. I hope you do the best choise,
