  • hahaha are u kidding me? this country has gotten where it has today by stealing elements of what made other countries great, by 'discovering' lands that were already populated and claiming them as their own. i cannot help your ignorance and unwillingness to see the world in any other light than through the eyes of a white supremacist such as yourself. i wont bother dignifying your reply with a response because i can pretty much guess what you'll say anyway. good day.

  • what a ridiculous statement to make.. 'no go areas for white people'.. oh boo hoo, not as if u were made to sit at the back of the bus and give up ur seat for some self-rigteous white person is it.

    ive said it before and ive said it again, this country would be NOTHING without the influence of black people.

    maybe if u picked up a history book instead of a swastika you would know that.

  • I think a boy was getting arrested for pick poceting and other people came to his assistance, then the riot started. So I've read.

  • @Persephone025 How does any of that help anybody, as long as people aren't causing trouble they should be allowed to go and live where ever they please.

  • IMMIGRATION IS OUT OF CONTROL.

    - DEPORT all the two million plus who are here illegally;

    - DEPORT all those who commit crimes and whose original nationality was not British;

    - REVIEW all recent grants of residence or citizenship to ensure they are still appropriate;

    - OFFER grants to those of foreign descent resident here who wish to leave permanently;

    - STOP all new immigration except for exceptional cases;

    - REJECT ALL asylum seekers who passed safe countries on their way to Britain.

  • @mischi3vous1 I realise what your saying and agree, anyone with eyes can see how the UK has grown for the better because of the influence of African, Asain (East and Middle) and West Indian cultures among others, this countries Norman heritage was just a stagnant puddle before the influence of 'outsiders'.

    God bless 'em!

  • @S35M A street carnival isnt a street carnival if in a stadium, its a paying event where no locals are able to make some extra cash or party in the street they live in, most of the residents of the area like and enjoy the carnival, the most vocal opponents of it are newly moved here residents who know full well before they move here that the carnival is on every year, the other nay sayers are just racists (even though the majority of carnival attendants are white nowadays). Locals love carnival

  • @Gnottason I do get you. I was a bit younger i think. iwas stil single figures in 81-84. we used to go with mum to get a cab from the office in all snts rd and as we walked a little way up, a few times we got spat a t and abused as we went. i always thought of it as one of those things though. im not complaining or bothered in the sense that it ever affected me, just shit me up at the time i spose. i never thought of it as racist.

  • @MrTillyayre Sorry its taken sooo long to reply but I missed the last reply to my comment, you 'take it' wrongly, I lived on the corner of All Saints Rd and Lancaster Rd from '81 to '84, I also lived for a short time in a friends place opposite the previous flat, I also had friends who lived in the blocks surrounding All Saints, something that tends to happen when you are brought up in an area. i would walk All Saints at any time feeling safe, not have a racist fear of Black people helped

  • who in his right mind really wants this on their door step? its crazy to force the notting hill residents to suffer this year after year why not hold this in a stadium? a field maybe n if its got to be in the streets as this is carrebean have in in a carrebean neibourhood better still a field in the middle of nowhere n No police in sight as this is a fun event police is Not needed let them all enjoy theirselfs to death too much happiness may kill them but they'll die happy what is the problem?

  • carnival was set about as a celebration 4 freedom 4 negros but we soon found out when we came 2 the uk that we was not free any more all our rights which we accustom 2 in the carribean was suddenly taken away from us and this riot was in response 2 enoch powel racist speech which was in the same context as ur white so called historian as david starkey recently made on ur racist tv station bbc 1 there was a lot of oppresion then and nothing has change in the uk since in fact its gone 10 x worse

  • @mischi3vous1 bollocks, YOU would be nothing without this country - ungrateful wanker!
