I used a small baby blanket to wrap up my 2 year old. We wrapped her up until she was 5 months. We now wrap our 1 month old in the same blanket. It doesn't matter what you use, as long as you know how to do it. My 2 year old liked to be swaddled loosly. My 1 month old won't settle until the blanket is tight (not too tight).

swaddling does work, but you really dont need a special blanket to do it i am a mother of nine the oldest is 26, been talking care of babies since i was 10. Been swaddling babies in all that time and never had to buy a specially made blanket to do it. smh
but i guess its ok if you want to spend the money.

@sisterfatima You are right. You don't need a special blanket. There are a lot of bells and whistle products these days for babies. I didn't NEED a miracle blanket, I just LOVED how easy it made swaddling both my kids. More power to ya if you love a blanket square. It boils down to personal preference. I wouldn't trade my miracle blanket for anything when my babies were small.

Swaddling is wonderful especially with the Miracle Blanket. I picked her up right after the camera went off. I just wanted to show that it was the blanket and not me calming her down.

I LOVED my Miracle Blanket with Bryson. He slept so well with it.
