Nicely done! I plan on making one since I just got a 11 gal kettle and cooling a kettle that large in the sink seems like a pain.

@rohrshach not to mention that ice water is a lot colder than tap water, it will chill it even faster

Thanks for the video. I just made mine tonight using the same principles, although after doing it without the pipe benders I find myself regretting not buying them. My test batch did cool the boiling wort to pitching temp in 11 minutes. an that was without an ice bath so that time will decrease too. Keep it up!

I didn't wanna leave the water on and run up my bill either so I spent a little extra on a 1/8 hp submersible pump. Put the pump in a bucket of ice water and you wont have to leave your water on. It was an extra cost now that will quickly pay for itself.

@snoopdogzify I agree. It bothers me too. I do it sometimes. I'm going to talk about no chill soon. Some people save the water they put through their chiller and then dump it in the washing machine and use it for laundry. I've never done that personally. But seems like a good idea to me.
