with a new series, i usually know by the second issue whether i will continue to buy it or not. But, when it comes to books that have been on my pull-list for a while but start to suck, I am also guilty of hanging around longer than i probably should.

You guys are hilarious. Jose threatening Elliott and the two of you making a bet that changed like 3 times reminds me of why I love this show. I bet that if Daniel's run sells higher than Dini's run on the current Batman books Daniel will get a run on detective comics next.

I submit that part of the success of the initial new Bat titles including Battle For the Cowl has to be contributed to a hidden enemy lurking in the shadows...the speculators.

i have a question ive been meaning to ask during these WTF are we all buying vids. how long does it take you folks to drop a book? a new series just taking off, if the first issue doesnt thrill you do you hang around and see if it picks up? or drop it?
how long does it take you to drop a book you've been reading a while and the quality has dropped, not your fav char but a book you've really enjoyed in the past?
just curious me i hang around way too long
