WGBS Promo for POwerful Women of Wrestling ( and Fame, Dinoscaucers credits, Dennis intro)

Some more Philly 57 stuff. I could probably get away with uploading the first one separately, but I'll treat everyone. This is the epitome of great television presentation.

The first one has Queen Kong cutting a memorably hilarious promo for POWW, the Powerful Women of Wrestling. She mentions Philly 57, so it's obviously a promo produced specifically for the local station. I've always liked how she takes the station slogan, and turns it into a sinister threat. Add in the no-budget atmosphere and bad acoustics (this looks to be shot at a local gym) and you have a winner.

Then, it's a generic promo for Fame, voiced by my personal favorite announcer Kim Martin. This is why - "Tune up your piano, get out your dancin' shoes, and start rehearsing your lines because.... you're going to night school!!" Since that line can't be topped, he wisely shuts up until the Philly 57 graphics kick in.

A bumper for Dinosaucers brings us to the end credits of that show, which I'm presenting to back up my claim that it's another typically awesome Haim-N-Shuki effort.

Then, it's Dennis and the Philly 57 kids girl pops in to introduce today's episode. Unlike the Dinosaucers, the intro credits are left intact.

Instead of a full pre-intro promotion, they should have just said all of that over the Dinosaucers credits, like most stations do.

i hated that show, Fame. The Monkees came on before Fame, and 21 Jump Street aired after it.
