how to make a lava lamp out of everyday items

how to make a home made lava lamp cheaply and easily, its pretty cool and you would probably find these things in your kitchen.
STUFF YOU NEED:
an glass to put your stuff in
water
washing up liquid (or anything heavier than water that isnt too heavy)
vegetable OR olive oil
vitamin C tablet (optional) INSTRUCTIONS:
1. half fill a glass with water
2. pour about a quarter of the glass with vegetable oil/olive oil
3. pour another quarter of the glass with washing up liquid (note that the washing liquid goes in AFTER the water and vegetable/olive oil)
4. when everything slows down a little place a vitamin C tablet into the glass and make sure its buried in the washing up liquid. it will dissolve and the bits of the tablet will float to the top carrying some washing up liquid to the top, which will then sink and the process starts over again
(note that you don't exactly need a vitamin C tablet but its good to use one anyway)
it looks a bit like a lava lamp, cool eh?
this is something great that you can do when your board because its fun and easy to use, its nice and entertaining to look at aswell :-)
