A story of loss told with The Sims 2 and set to Without You from Rent. NOTE: This video is NOT meant to be a reenactment of the movie or play. These are not meant to be the characters from Rent in any way. I'm just using the song to tell the story of a woman losing her husband to illness.

i loved it and agree with topmodel171 roger luks like he does in film cept hair which ill take word is same as play...nt tht i care.
its a cute story and a good song...and to all those "its nothing like the film"
just cos they use a song doesnt mean its a copy of the film or play. its their original idea/story...neway

this is a very touching song ani i almost cried. i loved how you had the black and white flashbacks. very dramatic. it would be interesting to make a sims 2 without you video about a woman who lost her husband in 9/11. that would be realy nice, touching.

The actual rent movie is so touching, and now to look at alll the things and forms people have changed certain clips into entirely yet excactly the same way as it was in the movie

ok i have alot to say in my comment. first i think its a GREAT video. I am a HUGE RENT HEAD! i agree with spottiedottie. its nuthin like in the movie or play. u other people r confused cuz ur used to roger with long hair, but in the play he has that exact haristyle in this video. and i must say. WOW if u look at rogers face it looks EXACTLY like Adam Pascal (actor who plays roger in both movie and play). mimi didnt look a thing like the actual mimi. i like this video alot.

BTW no offense but Rogers last name is Davis. In the movie Marks last name is Cohen.

I know. The two Sims in the movie are not Mimi and Roger-actually, they are Mark's daughter and her husband. I just used them to tell the story.
