WoW Cata Alpha Shadow Priest Solo 1st Boss Blackrock Caverns

Although, the gear used to make this wasn't what I have on armory.

Obviously this was made with free versions of Fraps and MS Movie Maker. Barely amateur heh.

This was done in an alpha build where a few bugs were still present to help (but weren't crucial to the kill)

A) Shadowy Apparitions doing 100% Mindblast damage.

B) Mindmelt broken so that Mindblast was instant only after 1 Mindspike.

You may notice slight differences from part to part as this was taken from at least 2 or 3 different kills. This was because of better timing for each part on different kills.

in the latest build they added invisible walls on either side of the crevice i use to jump back and forth over. no longer possible to solo O.O

I imagine they'll do something to stop you pulling him out of the room but this is still pretty cool.

@SSj5Bob well a lot has happened in the past few builds.

they added some hot lava in the crevices so one bad mis-step could spell a wipe.

also, i'm convinced they increased the bosses movement speed. less dps time on each ledge.

also, we went from 71 talents down to 30something.

at 83, i find it difficult to solo this boss. at 83, my combat ratings (hit, crit, haste) have dropped like stones.

however, i have been in a group where it got down to just me and a healer and we finished it :)

@Rassergon I think so too. Especially adding a strict no-fun policy, turning the game completely up it's own arse. (Not a real policy but seriously, it should be)

i solo'd the last boss in heroic SFK on my huntard after everyone left on the last boss -.- i just figured i might give it a try, so i jumped back and forth from the stairway at the door to the ledge where the boss is, was quite easy
