  • Look at 7:30 of the documentary. Steve Francis had been kicked off the HS team. His mothers death gave him, "the knowledge to go forward with his dreams." In addition, he took an unconventional route to his dream. He went through AAU ball. Everything happens for a reason.

  • not to be mean or anything and no offense to you, but that is so wrong to say that.

so if my son dies in a accident I should just blow it off and say things have a purpose? or should I try and prevent similar accidents from happening again?

  • Steve Francis is my hero.

  • Coach Lou Wilson. That's my coach

  • Man you can only hate Steve Francis if you really haven't seen him play. The combination of handles and dunking. ahhhh man that was a ticket to buy when he was in town.

  • JVG wasn't Francis' problem. He was a Monta Ellis, aka a player that you wont win games with.

  • @BIGBOSS1983100 lol because he was a ball-hog who didn't run the offense and had horrible %'s. Don't get me wrong I loved to watch him play but you weren't going to win with the one-man-franchise as your PG

  • One thing ruined steve francis career and that was Jeff Van Gundy. When Jeff Van Gundy took over the coaching job of the rockets, the following year steve was traded to orlando and everything else just didn't go his way. I miss Steve Francis, one of the players I looked up to.

  • This is touching, great documentary. I get a lot of boost from this, to how to raise my son the right way, how to manage his talent and academics. Steve Francis was of a kind. Him, AI, Stephon Marbury - these guys were the bad ass kids 10 years ago and now they are gone from the league. Stevie was unique: he had crossover, moves, could leeeap, jump, he was quick. For 7 years he was on top of the worrld. I hope he becomes a coach for the terps or for Lake Clifton high school.

  • @smartfunbuy I don't think anyone is insinuating that "because things happen for a reason" is just blowing off the situation or ignoring it. Thats very ignorant to say. Not too mention, you made his statement look wrong by giving an irrelevant example and then thwarting it . People on youtube maybe ignorant and be like "OMG EXACTLY" but that my friend is an illogical fallacy. You created a strawman.

  • man i h8 seein ppl cry it makes me feel bad :/
