1. in wind & current adjusting your anchor point from bow to stern by the trolley system can help you aim the boat in a different directions.
2. when landing a fish you can adjust the position of the anchored boat to get a better angle for reeling in your catch.
3. anchoring a kayak from the center of the boat is DANGEROUS and can swamp a boat in current so thats "WHY" you want the anchor point on either the bow or stern.
I appreciate the time it takes to make and post these videos but c'mon guys!! This has very little to do with the "Use" of an anchor trolley. What about the "movement" of the trolley system from bow to stern? No explanation whatsoever. There are a lot of bad videos out there and this is one of them. Why take the time to make these if they dont cover the necessary info? stumbling and stuttering your way through it dont cut it. Write a script before hand or something.
Finally I know how to use my pulley system. I just got an Ocean Kayak about two months ago that came with what you're demonstrating, and maybe it's just that I'm slow, but had absolutely no idea how to use it. Thanks for the video, now I don't have to keep my paddle on my lap in the current!
Very very poor. This man looks like he is having a hard time handling these products, or perhaps that is because its the first and only time he has ever been near them. There's good info and there's bad info. This is bad info.
Captn. Dick...very informative video, great job. Where do you purchase the pulley shown on the kayak you are demonstrating on?? I checked your website but it's not the same pulley. I plan to rig my 3 yaks just as soon as I can find that particular pulley.
Very Nice Video But How well do these things work if your in a very stumpy lake? I use my kayak in backwater areas that most people wouldn't attempt to go. I use the float system on my anchor but my anchor consits of a plastic coated 2Lb Barbel weight. Thanks for sharing this video.
This video was like watching a japanese sub-titled video. And it seemed very unorganized. Just not the quality I thought should have been there.

Some of the points that should have been made.

funky chicken 1979- What a waste of air. You need to keep somethings to yourself. And your attitude is one of them.
