Since the League of Women Voters was brushed off by the two parties, they should get in the business of sponsoring "3rd party" debates instead.

In Canada, this month, the main parties tried to exclude the Green Party candidate from the debates. The people and media were outraged, so they pressured the organizers and the main parties, and got her in the debates. The Broadcast consortium has reversed their decision and allowed Elizabeth May to take part in the nationally televised leaders debates . The US people and media should follow this REAL DEMOCRATIC example. See greenparty(dot)ca/en/releases/

Why do the candidates need to have a minimum support of 15% in the polls to get into the general election debates? Back when the presidential debates for the primaries took place, most of the candidates there had under 10% polling, and some had barely 1%. They were still invited though, why does that have to change for the general election?

If you listen to NPR, ask them to provide more coverage for third party candidates because apparently they think they are providing enough coverage to them (yeah right): npr(dot)org/ombudsman/2008/07/
