Magnum 1012 AM/FM/SSB Expanded Frequency Conversion 10 & 12 Meter / CB Radio

This video will show how to modify the Magnum 1012 Hand Held radio for extended frequencies coverage. Options are available for different regions etc , CB radio channels and freeband frequencies. Or the radio can operate as a standard 10 & 12 meter ham radio.

You could just add a custom switch for entering the start up menu.

I guess I don;t understand the mods? If you have those menu options, why unsloder the blobs, or, do you only get those extra menus if you do the unsoldering? As a Ham, I would be interested in non-channelized full coverage straight through all the freqs with very fine freq adjustment control. I'll check the website for those answers.

We can't get that radio here in the Netherlands... but nice radio!

Especially the 10 mtr band for me as a licence Ham radio operator.
