Star Trek: Nemesis, the final movie featuring the TNG cast, was a disappointment for some of us Trek fans. While there were plenty of problems with the movie, many felt that it didn't give a good sense of closure for their final adventure. As it turns out, there were a handful of scenes filmed that had they been left in would have done just that. I thought that adding a couple of these scenes in would greatly improve the ending, so I did just that. All I really did was add a couple of the deleted scenes, and cut out the original ending. The deleted scenes, having less visual quality than the final movie, stand out but if there is a way to improve them, I don't have the expertise to do so. I hope you enjoy.

Little advice: If you're gonna watch the movie, stop the DVD as soon as the Enterprise appears (after the crew gets reunited for the memorial of Data) and play this video instead.

The film would have been so much richer had they left this in. Hopefully once day, like Superman II a few years back, it'll get a decent "directors cut" style redux (although without said director).

New first officer is the same guy in Enterprise who was Reed's superior in that precussor to Section 31

Why they didn't use this ending to close down the TNG franchise? i don't know, but i do know this: It was a dumb choice.

Why couldn't they have let Crusher and Picard have that, what, 20 second snippet to leave their little romance on a nice note? They just couldn't even let them have that? Pathetic.
