@crucisnh I watched it on tape and it's both. In the wide angle shots where you see all the action you can tell it's a stuntman, but in the close-ups, even if you can't make out his face clearly, it's Rennie himself. Like I said, he was a real sport.

@albatani27 I think that it was actually a stuntman. If you watch the fight scene closely, you'd see that there's never a good clear view of Sandman's face.

I agree that it was cool of Sandman to be willing to mix it up physically. Also considering Michael Rennie was nearly 60 at this point shows he was game for a little physicality.
