Odd. FDR's policies which you claimed failed during the Great Depression actually increased the size of our GDP by 7-9% per year during the depression. In today's economic terms, we call that kind of GDP growth India and China combined. Furthermore, when the depression started unemployment was around 25% -- twenty-five percent! Think about that for a minute. During the 1930s under FDR, that rate decreased drastically. These are basic economic indicators. Look it up, get your facts straight.

GDP only increased because of private enterprise and FDRs policies were thwarting that.

Internet is becoming less of a luxury and more a common utility. Just like electricity and water, the government should be laying down the fiber optic infrastructure to american homes. Those lines should then be leased to PRIVATE companies to provide internet service and compete for our money.

We need to get rid of those local monopolies granted by the government. Americans are being raped by local cable ISPs for internet compared to the rest of the world.
