Note her amazing, superbly nuanced drummer, the late Dave Early (d. 10/96, 40 yrs) for this SNL show. No wonder that no less a perfectionist than Van Morrison also chose him for recordings and performances late 80's-very early 90's. Alas, another victim of VM's chronic, legendary ire, resulting in the sacking of many musicians. Very notable drum technique by Dave is heard upon opening of (Sade's) Sweetest Taboo song, too. Very enthusiastic/charismatic talent.
