Yes music should have talent, but for people like me, it should also convey genuine emotion and pride. Straightedge hardcore pushes me to believe in myself and without it, I would still be the ignorant piece of shit that I was. It may not mean shit to you, but it means a lot to me. Yeah, progressive is great too, but Hardcore and Progressive are two COMPLETELY different genres.
