Acer Aspire M5640 - Emsisoft Commandline Scanner 5.0

This was recorded back on August 25th 2010 but general uploading lazyness/procrastination have reigned supreme in this case. You can get this commandline scanner and more info on the parameters at http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/cmd/

This vid comes from my struggles to understand what is wrong with the Vista install on this particular M5640. It keeps going into Startup Repair and is unable to repair whatever is plaguing Vista on this system though it claims to be a "CorruptFile" from the error log.

A Command Prompt is one of the last options available short of outright having to restore a system from scratch. Here is an example of how one might use a commandline to try & rescue their operating system from the brink of death. I scan 2 drives, C:/ (6 infections) & X:/ (0 infections)

i tried it and it did not work for me...did you use a cd or did you extract the contents into a usb?....thanks!

@dxproductions100 This WAS the one actually. I tried to correct this but didn't have any luck. It needed a Vista restore DVD, it was too corrupted :(

@dxproductions100 They took the computer back today actually. I did what I could but I think they will have to completely format & restore the system. I got their other 2 Acer's sorted but this one was a more serious case.
