I posted this a while back but hated the vocals and the video so remastered and added more interesting video. Rhythm and lead on a Martin DR, vocals on a Beyerdynamic m88, drums are a homemade cardboard bass and a djembe. Recorded onto a Tascam dp01-fx. The original music is available on CD Baby...

lyrics:
I can see a reason for this and I can feel the pain
I walked out my door last night and it began to rain
Now I cant find my way back home, to me it all looks the same
Treacherous woman I trusted you, I gave you all I had
Ive paid in full and Ive lost it all and I really feel quite bad
The storms upon me, Im soaking wet and Im feeling sad on sad
They told me that theyve never seen a case like this before
Where the blues take hold of the heart and soul and cut down to the core
In a flash of light, its all revealed and it begins to pour
Love will take you far and wide; it will take you high and low
It will show you for the fool you are and it will make you grow
If you hear the call and risk it all, you just never know

Great job on this song and video, I am really impressed. You are inspiring as a songwriter. I love the fact you used a cardboard bass for your drum, it sounded great. If I could rate more then 5-stars I would. Take Care, Eric

Thanks. I used a cardboard tube from a lava lamp, some vinyl and a crochet hoop glued to the inside of the tube to support the drum head.
