One of the best of the series in my opinion. Yes, there is a lack of Q-Lab gedets, but a real spy has to rely on his wit more than his toys. That is why Fleming kept as little gadets in his books as possible.
as for this movie: Great chases, shootouts, great combination of Fleming's short stories and a nice opening. Any fan would know that was BLofeld without even having his name mentioned! definately in the top five.

This is what I love about Moore. The humor and creativity in his Bond movies that seem to be lacking in the last two movies. Like how he always has bystanders helping him or looking stunned, how he messes with Jaws all the time, and that nod plus a smile 0:44. Craig as Bond would've just had his signature scowl.
But I still like the new Bond, more sophisticated and ruthless..but the qualities that are missing. Like Moore's witty humor, original story plots, gadgets, and Brosnan's charm.

I want to see the funny scene where the car flips. "Take the low road." Flips on its side. "Not that low." Its my favorite part. And I think later in the scene it has the funny car thing where it has flamethrowers or something. It been a while.

That was Roger Moore in a nutshell; he made Bond self-deprecating which was a clever departure from Sean Connery's Bond. Too much of the same Connery approach would have killed the franchise.
