  • Mark, great tip.I have just tried it for the first time and it has changed the way I view the pocket - I keep my goals on 3x5 cards and I can now see them every time I open my journal. THE best hack for moleskines keep the ideas coming. Well done!!!

  • Glad you like it. Thanks for letting me know. -M

  • At first I thought he sad "Hi, I'm Mark Twain".

  • Wish I had something intelligent to add but I don't so .... just wanted to say loved your idea Mark! Thanks so much for the post!

  • Cool hack! But I won't need it, because I will get a Moleskine Folio.

  • Cool hack. I'm going to try it with the large reporter notebook I got as a gift (I usually use the large plain journals). The large reporters do fit in the moleskine folio from Rickshaw Bags (I love mine!) in case anyone wonders, though not surprisingly the fit is a bit snugger as the back cover won't slide in the back pocket.

  • great idea ^

  • This is really great for the nice way it allows you to store pictures in it! I always had this one picture I kept in the pocket to show different people and now with this hack I can just open the back without having to worm my hands inside. Thanks a lot!

  • However someone THOUGHT these notebooks would be called, The standard American English version has become exactly this.

Mark I think this is pretty cool. I don't know that I have any use for it but might try it anyway. Good luck in Hong Kong.

  • The first time a saw one of your videos talking about your messenger bags, the thought of you being left-handed popped into my head. People who are out there (in a good way) are usually left handed, my dad is.

By the way, where do you get all those cool stickers you put on your Moleskines?

  • It's how the word is pronounced. If you want to purposely pronounce it wrong, that's fine, but some people just don't realize they're mispronouncing it, and would rather get it right.
