FAQ: Why does Isabela drive off when I defeat her?

A: How much time do you have left on this case? This mission is kind of glitchy. If you only have a tiny bit of time left and you beat her, the game acts like you ran out of time and the cases close. Moral of the story: don't wait till the last minute to beat Isabela.

If you save your game to where you don't have enough time to beat her, your only choice may be to restart the game.

I coulda just shot Isabela to death from up there on that pallet (still had a handgun left), but I thought it might make the fight more interesting if I went melee in the middle of it.
