Best catch ever in cricket history

Is that really the rule? I have seen a few catches taken by a fielder who has thrown the ball back into play from an airborn position outside the boundary and then taken the catch inside the rope ... but I guess the difference is that those catches are only considered legitimate if the fielder is on the ground while taking the catch ...
so actually by jumping over the rope rather than stepping back over the rope and taking it, david hussey actually fumbled it by being airborn?

@Jayjay03025 that rule is 4 fielder on ground. 1st of all, u need to decide that 3rd touch he made, was fielder on ground or airborne? ans=airborne. cricket law 19.4 states that if a fielder touches the ball when he is airborne, then his final contact with ground, b4 touching the ball applies (ie where he took his jump from, that's his final contact with ground) so his 3rd airborne touch is wrong, bcoz his final contact with ground b4 touching the ball in air was from outside

@abdulbasitb Both of you are very wrong. It is definitely out and not a six.
At no point was the ball in contact with the fielder while the fielder was in contact with something outside the boundary. He caught the ball inside the boundary without his foot or any part of his body outside the boundary or on the boundary.
The bottom line is he caught the ball within the boundary.
Come on guys ...

@Iafeta1000 Yes I think the same. Should be a six. His first two touches with the ball were fine, but at his last touch with the ball when he was airborne, the last contact of his foot was from outside boundary. So it should be a six.

@pseudofool LOL what an EFFORT, god he's stupid

Thats a six he didnt get back in play before catching it. Good effort though

People react to catches and take some , some dive and it falls into thier hands, some are flexible enough to dive and reach a certain area but this is the kind of catch which needs every presence of mind, composure , technique, flexibility, and brilliance.
The best catch ever for me but i do not feel wrong with Ravi Shastri there as randomking said. Anyways, i watched this live so then the commentry felt different as well and was justifying to that current situation.

that it was collingwood makes it better... serves him right for all the impossible catches he got people out with.
You suck Mr. Ravi Shastri... that guy takes one of the best catches in the cricket history, and you don't have enough sense or vocabulary to praise him for its real worth... lameass..I just wish Tony Greig was there instead of you!!!
