Who cares about what the song is about... it's about how it makes you feel. Makes me feel good even though it's mellow. It makes me miss being young and optimistic back in the 90's when I used to play this song over and over while playing basketball at the park district in my home town and thinking about a girl I liked at the time. Real shit.

its funny this song is about a guy coping with his friends girlfriend killing herself after an abortion and you've made it your relationship anthem..good luck with that
