  • You had a slow reaction time. I think you could've knocked off another .1 seconds if you dropped the clutch right when it turned green.

  • @DxExX

reaction time doesn't affect your ET. the time doesn't start until you cross the start line.

  • no disrespect bro but 13.3 is that it???? im expecting like a 13.1, dont e36 m3's(us) run like a 14.0-14.4 if so all thos mods for only a 1 second gain?? im expecting my m3 to be @ 13.8 right now with minor mods. but good job and nice estoril blue, i have a dakar yellow.

  • @mrdragking13

heh, yep, 13.3 is all i could get out of her that day. the density altitude that day was around 900ft above sea level and i couldn't seem to pull better than a 2.0 60ft. with better conditions and a better launch it'd be in the 12s easily.

report back with what you run with your car. you've got me curious now ;-)

  • Nice... Didnt you have cams at one point? or am i thinking of something else.. >_>

  • @V8EATR

no cams for me. at this point i'm not sure the car will ever have aftermarket cams in it.

  • @jworms Oh alright, good to know. A guy I know that drags a lot explained it to me like that. Maybe its only on some strips. Good job none the less.

  • A more aggressive clutch will do that.

  • why is it that i have a stock e36 m3 and cant even get the tires to spin but yours chirps 3rd!!????

  • Yeah well 14.4 is not that bad for a stock e36 m3 ( US spec)..Dont forget its heavy and it only have 240hp...Its cost me 4000$ (chip, cams, injectors, euro maf , forged valves with installation) and im really happy of the difference..im at 245whp on the dyno...But for sure it wont respond to mods like a mustang there are so many parts available for those cars..Btw what made the biggest difference on my car is the stage 2 clutch with a lightweight flywheel..

  • @StKetoiL honestly 14.4 is shit slow for a m3. if my stock m3 ran anything slower than a 14.1 id sell that shit asap. no disrespect cause i love my e36 m3 but it just doesnt respond well to mods as my mustang. i added a few bolt ons and my mustang turned from night to day. i added full bolt ons to my m3 and its basicly the same as stock :/

  • @mrdragking13 I own a 1995 M3 US..stock i did 14.4 at 97mph and now with a chip, shrick cams, 24lbs injectors and Euro MAF I run 13.2 at 104mph and let me tell u that 1 second of gain (at 100mph) is ALOT! Just think of what is 1 second at 100mph..

  • @jworms I recently brought my gt and I ran with crappy launch(40 degrees) a 13.9 @ 102 and my m3 now has an aa track pipe. 3rd gen muffler. Afe cai and chipped and I now beat my gt by about a car and a half. Sooner or later ill track the M and now I'm curious to what ill run :)
