Dolphins play with anything in their environment, even our trash.

Thankfully, this guy was able to free himself after he disappeared. I found the bag, floating in the water, 15 minutes later. This could have ended very differently.

Please think before you use plastic.

  • IF DOLPHINS ARE SO SMART, WHY DID THIS ONE ALMOST DIED WITH A FUCKING BAG

  • @kangaxx Well, in their millions of years of evolution they have never dealt with a synthetic material before, it's very new to them. They usually play with leaves and seaweed, which fall apart and decompose. Plastic doesn't do that. Maybe just spinning is normally all it takes to free them from any other objects they find. Furthermore, it seems like they are only capable of moving forward. I'm sure we could all learn a lesson from that.

  • Great point, jojo. We need to rethink MANY things. I knew this video needed to be shared right when I took it. Hopefully, it will help give us the motivation for a much-needed step in the right direction.

  • Mahalo for all the support everyone. This is an urgent message and we can all do our part.

  • That's awesome. I heard Seattle is working on it.

  • The monetary system is at fault here. plastic is the cheapest and most profitable option as a result plastic bags and products much worse will remain in the market resulting in things much worse than this. so please... Rethink the monetary system
