I love this song.
That's mostly because I'm interested in the history of opium, especially in it's effect on Victorian literature. That's what i've been trying to catch with these pictures by Natalie Shau. Beside their blackly gothic atmosphere several of them echoe typical Victorian topics, like "Alice in Wonderland", or "The Lady of Shalott". The quotation at the end is by Thomas de Quincy, who wrote "Confessions Of An English Opium-Eater".

  • @LaudanumDrinker - Hats off for making an amazing montage with the most intriguing pictures I have come across in the recent past at least... I too am fascinated by the effect that opium had on writers and the consequent result of surreal yet dramatic fiction... Great work on the video... great song choice!!!
