@katherine9997 She answered those questions during her first interview (two weeks after she escaped). This one was about her new life and how she coped with ordinary things that all of us take for granted.

@MadBasstid Did I ever say she should hide her face in shame and live in poverty? (Is that the alternative, by the way?) Am I demonizing her? Don't think so. I'm just stating the obvious: the she chose the spotlight path. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion about people who engage with a public audience (just like you have yours about me). There's nothing wrong with that.

@Gwisemua who cares if one woman is happy to share her story publicly and the other isn't? Should she hide her face in shame and struggle in poverty, or lose any sympathy for her ordeal? What of all the other people who had no horrible ordeal to talk about and are nonetheless very much in the public eye, do you condemn all of them? You yourself are engaging w/ a public audience, are you wrong for it? She's an ordinary human being like you, demonizing her won't make the world less frightening.

i think she is amazing because she was brave enough to try to escape and did she didnt give up on her life afterwards either thats great
