@Hornystick Actually, it was Portugal, Spain, France, Great Britain and the Netherlands that were the main traffickers in slavery. After gaining independent status as a nation America profited heavily from the slave trade but did end it completely and free its slave population. Equality has been slow to come, but slavery was ended by America 145 years ago.

@TheSoundjataKeita Really, I didnt know that they learned it from the Egyptians. Egyptians deserve more credit.  Still, I don't understand why the race of the Egyptians seems to be such a hot topic for a lot of people.
