@monkeychunger I recently sent a package to your home town. It was an Ebay order for a collection of science fiction dvds, shipped all the way from Florida. I don't know what relevance this has or what meaning can be attached to it. Probably nothing; but I felt like mentioning this.

A lot of these tunes on this album originally came out on a record from VeeJay Records and not Capitol. Had a copy. Wish I still had it.

@floridacomedyfan Actually the pop is what won people over. The Beatles were the best pop band around. Really horrible. Yes they were influence from some rock n roll musicians, but they made pop music up until Rubber Soul.

@EvilAnticsLive Not really. The melody was what won people over in the old days. It's all about the melody. If you like the 50s music, then you can see where they got their influence. The Beatles early stuff was their version of 50s music.
