VERY CLOSE - GOOD FOOTAGE - Toronto Propane Facility Explosion - Keele and Wilson 2008

I filmed this along Wilson, between Dufferin and Keele, around 650 metres away from the fire!!!

I live along Wilson, and was woken up by the huge explosion in the middle of the night. I came out to see this.

1:10 - You can see a fireball flying out (possibly a propane tank on flames) flying through the air.
1:53 - Semi-large explosion.
3:20 - Store windows blown out, next to my house.
6:46 - Photos of the aftermath of the stores next to my house.

This took place around 4am, Sunday August 10th, 2008. The propane facility belonged to Sunrise Propane Industrial Gases -- a supplier of nitrogen, propane and helium. Why this facility was built so close to a residential area (or vice versa) is beyond me...

It wasn't 4am lol I was still awake when the 1st explosion happened which was around 2:30-3:00am...who's that idiot saying its a plane? Plane keeps exploding when it crashes? LMAO!

I found a room to share with in Toronto. And it was in the Keele/Wilson, so i typed it in google, to take a look at it. As soon as I type it in google.. Keele/Wilson.. Explosion pops up on the right... im like woaaaaaaaaaaa. No way, looking for a new place now :)

@kinglynx The place was on fire for a while before the first big explosion happened, so people were just filming the fire when.. BOOM! .. caught it on camera.
