Really stunning. Is it just me or does it sound like the timpani are playing a tone too low for the final B minor chord? Or is that a microphone thing? Or my speakers?

Actually Gheorghiou is fabulous here and it is so rare to hear this aria by a voice in its prime For some strange reason this aria is always being sung by sopranos in their decline
